WL Hoon is the creator of Glimmer Stories, a small studio making calm, gentle cartoons for children ages 2–6. WL writes the parenting notes and gentle guides that go alongside each Glimmer Valley episode — drawing on the same calm, low-stimulation, one-good-thing-at-a-time approach behind the show.
The goal is simple: warm little stories that help children feel calm and kind, plus practical, judgment-free help for the grown-ups raising them. Every guide here is written to be genuinely useful and gentle — no lectures, no pressure.
Calm toddler bedtimes, gentle parenting, kindness and big feelings, sharing and being brave, and screen time that soothes rather than overstimulates.
